How do you clean skin oil from a laptop?
I’ve tried alcohol and other cleaning products but nothing is seeming to work. It’s a gateway m6447 I believe and has a metallic casing around the keyboard and touchpad. It is stained in two spots from what appears to be skin oil from resting hands/wrists in those areas. Any help would be very much appreciated.
If it won’t come off with rubbing alcohol, then it is more than just oil residue. Most likely it is just that the metallic finish has been rubbed off.
Cleaning it won’t help.
